Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA) - Arts Residencies – The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA), Arts in Education Division (AIE) provides funding for arts in education programs. The purpose of the AIE Division is to develop and support quality arts education programs in schools and community settings for all Pennsylvanians. The Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership (PAEP) was selected to partner with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts' Arts in Education Division in February 2004. As the PCA regional partner for the Philadelphia, southeastern Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, and Bucks counties, PAEP facilitates the process of selecting artists for inclusion in the Directory of Pennsylvania Artists in Education, publishes the directory, and sponsors arts residencies in school and community sites in which teaching artists integrate the arts with academic curricula.
