We at PAEP are pleased to announce the appointment of Anjoli Santiago as our new Executive Director!

After joining PAEP in 2025 as Program Director, Anjoli undertook responsibility for the management of our STEAM afterschool program that currently runs in eight Philadelphia schools. Her hands on approach can be felt across the entirety of the program and has gone a long way in building connections between PAEP and the schools we serve. If you’ve ever been to one of our annual student showcases then chances are you’ve seen her in action, doing everything she can to ensure that our teachers, artists, and students have what they need to make the night a success!

“In all my years of working, I honestly cannot remember being in such close proximity to a director who so genuinely cares about the people they lead,” said Brandon Williams, one of our current music teaching artists. “Because of the environment [she creates], doing a good job becomes about much more than earning a paycheck. It becomes personal.”

Anjoli earned her Master of Science in Education from the City College of New York, and over her career has successfully piloted several arts integrated educational programs that placed trauma-informed, social-emotional learning at the center of curriculum development. She has been a strong advocate for the importance of the arts in  youth education and community building, having served on the Philadelphia Young Playwrights Alumni Board and facilitated storytelling residencies for People’s Light, Mighty Writers, 1812 Productions, and First Person Arts.

We couldn’t be happier to have her creative vision at the helm of our organization!
