FREE Storytelling Workshop for Caregivers: How to Connect to Youth and Others

Your Story: How to connect to youth and others

Your story matters and is important. You have wisdom and advice that can be shared to guide youth and others. Join Anjoli Santiago, PAEP Program Director and two-time First Person Arts StorySlam Champion, in learning how to craft your lived experiences into a story you can share to inspire others.

Anjoli Santiago understands the invitation to creativity is inherently inclusive. An alchemist of words, she honors her inner scientist, approaching everything with curiosity. For Anjoli, life is magic, and creativity is our gift to make manifest.

She began her journey as an actress, poet, and teaching artist, performing in city theaters and honing the skills she gained from earning her B.A. in Theatre at Temple University. She recognized the importance of communal access to the arts. Anjoli has since performed with Power Street Theatre, Theatre in the X, Drexel University, Theatre Exile, InterAct Theatre, and more. She continues experimenting with her craft, becoming a two-time StorySlam Champion with First Person Arts.

Working as an educator in diverse communities such as Kensington, the South Bronx, Harlem, and Greater Philadelphia, Anjoli is an expert in meeting the unique needs of youth in these culturally rich and often underserved areas. Anjoli is a Trauma-Informed Practice facilitator with the Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation, where she also shares her knowledge of social and emotional skill development with creatives and art administrators.

Event will take place virtually on June 25 at 7:00 PM
