The Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership is proud to announce that we have been selected to participate in the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers NASA program. This program is a result of the ongoing collaboration between NASA and the U.S. Department of Education, and aims to advance STEM education and provide students with rich academic experiences. We will be implementing the NASA program into our STEAM After-School program at Stephen Decatur Elementary School for the remainder of the 2020-2021 academic year.
NASA’s vision is, “to reach for new heights and reveal the unknown to benefit all humankind” is in alignment with our goal to provide art integration and academic enrichment for students. We are thrilled our students are provided the opportunity to participate in this program and we would like to thank our funder, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
