PAEP’s FREE STEAM Summer Programs will be returning to in-person to 2 School District of Philadelphia elementary and middle schools this year, thanks to Pennsylvania Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers support.
The STEAM After School Program provides participants with the unique opportunity to strengthen academic competencies through visual and performing arts practices. Our curriculum is designed for incoming 5th and outgoing 8th grades who have an interest in the arts, as well as students who are simply looking for a safe learning environment this summer. Students will receive a free break and lunch through the School District of Philadelphia’s Food Service Department, participate in fun and engaging science, math, literacy, and social emotional learning activities as well as experience learning through different art forms (visual arts, music, dance, and theater).
The STEAM After School Program will begin its operations on Tuesday, June 28 through Thursday August 4 from 9AM to 3PM.
PAEP prides itself in its ability to create not only a safe and welcoming learning environment for students during after school hours, but also to foster the confidence, talents, and intellect of the youth of the School District of Philadelphia.
Thanks to our funders, ALL Philadelphia students in the 5th – 8th grade (private, public, charter, home-schooled) are eligible to participate in the STEAM Summer Program. To enroll your child, parents/ guardians should fill out the registration form!
