FREE Steam After-School Program

PAEP’s FREE STEAM After School Program will be returning to School District of Philadelphia and Philadelphia Archdiocese Schools this Fall! The STEAM After School Program has been converted to a virtual platform and will operate virtually for the foreseeable future. The program provides students in grades 5-8 with the unique opportunity to strengthen academic competencies through visual and performing arts practices. Students participate in fun and engaging science, math, literacy, and social emotional learning activities as well as experience learning through different art forms (visual arts, music, dance, and theater). PAEP will also send FREE art supplies to all participants.

The STEAM After School Program will begin operating on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 and will run Monday – Thursday from 3:30pm – 6:30pm for the entire school year. PAEP prides itself in its ability to create not only a safe and welcoming learning environment for students during after school hours, but also to foster the confidence, talents, and intellect of the youth of Philadelphia. Thanks to our funder, the Nita M. Lowey Pennsylvania Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers, ALL Philadelphia students in the 5th – 8th grade (private, public, charter, home-schooled) are eligible to participate in the STEAM After School Program.  To enroll your child, parents/ guardians should fill out the registration form here!
